ALDINGER, Frederick B., Harrisburg, Pa., was born in Linglestown, Dauphin county, Pa., June 10, 1874, and is a son of John and Regina (Stoll) Aldinger. Mr. Aldinger was educated in the public schools of Linglestown. At the early age of thirteen he became clerk in the general store of C. B. Care & Son. Three years later he went to Harrisburg, (sic) to act as clerk in the hotel of his brother, W. C. Aldinger. When he was seventeen years of age, he began a two years’ apprenticeship at printing with the Harrisburg Publishing company, afterwards practicing and improving himself in the art in the State printing office, under the management of C. M. Busch. At the age of twenty-one Mr. Aldinger went into the hotel business at No. 231 Strawberry avenue, in which location he still continues the business.
