ULRICH, John L., farmer, Middletown P.O., was born in Lower Swatara township, Dauphin County, January 2, 1861. He received his education in the township schools, and learned the milling business. In 1881 he rented the Nissley mill, which he conducted for three years, after which he removed to his father’s homestead, which he has since occupied. Mr. Ulrich was married, in 1881, to Miss Barbara, daughter of Jacob C. Nissley, on Londonderry township, and they have two children: Katie V. and Mary B. In his political views Mr. Ulrich is a Republican, and has served as township auditor. His church membership is with the United Brethren at Hummelstown.
